Personal:

Born at Philadelphia, Mississippi.
Reared in Moss Point, Mississippi.
Saved at the age of eleven.
Answered the call to preach at the age of fourteen.
Licensed to preach by the Eastside Baptist Church at Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Ordained to the gospel ministry by the Orange Grove Baptist Church at Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Present Ministry:

Preach in Bible Conferences, revivals, seminars, and evangelistic meetings.

Pastoral Ministry:

Pastored a First Baptist Church, with over one thousand members, for fourteen years and six months.  Radio, television, children and bus ministries were implemented and operated.  Bought additional property and built a new auditorium with additional parking.

Pastored a community church, for five years that grew from an average Sunday School attendance of less than one hundred to a one day high of four hundred.  Established a Christian School (K-6 grade).  Daily television outreach.  Built a new educational building.

Pastored a city church, for two years, became a leader in growth and number of baptisms.

Note:  Every church, that called me to be their pastor, was declining in attendance.  We experienced growth in every one of these churches.  I have never had a church to decline during my ministry.

Evangelistic Ministry:

Ministered in over four hundred evangelistic meetings.  My highest number of scheduled meetings in one year was forty one.

Denominational Work:

Vice President of the state pastors' conference.
Member of the Board of Regents of a Southern Baptist University.
Preached on college campuses.
Taught annual bible studies.
Preached in associational meetings.

Special Information:

Earned the Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
Served as an Associate Superintendent and Counselor/Instructor at a Christian drug and alcohol recovery facility.
Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Listed in Who's Who In Religion.
